Não sei o que é que têm de especial. Não só são compulsórios, como são pagamentos compulsórios por conta. Não só pagamos, como pagamos adiantado. Genial.
Por conta ou não, contrato social ou não, se os impostos tivessem em conta a vontade do pagante, poucos ou nenhuns seriam pagos. Pagar significa um acordo entre as partes. Um preço por um serviço. Quero ver o meu contrato de prestação de serviços e a factura.
Como diz Joseph Sobran: "Politicians never accuse you of 'greed' for wanting other people's money - only for wanting to keep your own money."
Estado de Direito? Não existe Direito no Estado, apenas Estados que se contêm menos no pisar do Direito, constituindo-se como um mal menor. Isso podemos nós (talvez) aturar.
