Com este instrumento, denominado de ETF (Exchange Traded Fund), organizado pelo World Gold Council, vai ser possível comprar e vender ouro sob a forma de um título (que representa uma décima de uma onça, depositado em cofre seguro), tão facilmente como se duma acção cotada tratasse. Esta "acção" (ETF) vai estar cotada em Londres, na Euronext Paris, Nova Iorque, Hong kong e já está na Austrália.
